During this course we will investigate the murderous mechanisms of some of William Shakespeare’s most famous revenge tragedies, like Hamlet, MacBeth and Othello. We will try to witness how human mind falls victim to passions and urges, which, in the end, bring about its downfall. We will accompany some of Shakespeare’s most famous characters on their road to perdition and try to ask ourselves whether we would be strong enough to resist the same temptations.
